“my drawings are a journal of my time studying ABOARD in lille, france. they reflect snapshots of daily life and places that shaped my experience. each piece shows a part of my journey to grow myself as an artist and add another dimension to my perspective of what it means to understand. i sought out subjects i felt pieces of myself in and focused on interpreting them. this is a reflection of self-discovery; in an environment where everything was different, i studied myself to learn how i PERCEIVE the world.”
